Last July 22, 2013 we have witnessed the 4th
State of the Nation Address of President Benigno Aquino III. He stated to his
“Boss”, the success and achievements of his administration and his plans for
the two years remaining on his term. For 1 and an half hour, people all around
the country listen and react on the things that president mentioned in his
SONA. With, his speech isn’t different from the former presidents of their SONA
because all are just in favor of PNOY while others are satisfied and expects
more achievements. But let’s now turn to a new world of art of his SONA.
As
PNOY stand at the pedestal to deliver his speech, the tone of his voice is
itchy, although all of us know that are president is a smoker, his itchy voice
may hindrance to expound the thought that he is reiterating. The state of his
entire speech affected because of his voice.
I think that when PNOY delivered the speech,
he is serious with his speech that become more intense. Although at some point
it may gave him strong and strength to the issues concern in his administration.
It is also a way to tell the people that his past achievements.
On the other hand, PNOY is still comparing
with the previous administration. Although he is not directly pointing former
president Gloria Arroyo, he is reiterating that Former President Gloria
Macapagal Arroyo blaming of she is doing the past administration. I think we
should not always comment and compare but we should do action because action
affects with our behavioral and mental processes.
In summary, PNOY
SONA is focused on his latest achievements which he develop is growth with. And
for the two years that is remaining to him, PNOY must prove to the people that
he can do everything for of our country. PNOY should not always be silent but
speak up so that the power of his office is more valuable.
